Personal description

I’m a friendly, patient and approachable tutor who enjoys helping students develop both their knowledge and confidence. I believe that learning is most effective when students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and exploring ideas. My aim is to help each student make progress while developing a positive attitude towards learning.

Tutoring experience

I have a Master’s degree in Medicine, Science and Society from King’s College London and decades of experience tutoring students on an individual basis. This has given me extensive experience adapting lessons to different abilities, learning styles and needs, as well as helping students prepare for exams and develop their understanding and confidence.

Tutor's approach

My main focus is on building confidence, as I find that confidence not only improves understanding but also encourages students to practise and engage with their learning. I aim to make lessons interesting and relevant by connecting topics to real-world applications and, where possible, the student’s own interests. I adapt my approach to each individual, creating a supportive environment where students can ask questions, learn from mistakes and enjoy making progress.
